As you can see, finally we have a nice logo of our own. The colors and the flame itself represent our dynamic approach to our goals. The mutations of the logo are still being worked out, but by the first look, finally we have a logo which we can use for various platforms, such as t-shirts, different print-works, broadcast etc.

ESL proudly announced today, that the head sponsor of the ESL European Nations Championship 2010 will be ASUS. ASUS is one of the leading companies in the new digital era. The best teams of six disciplines will be able to fight for glory and for the biggest prize money in the history of ENC, exactly 120.000 Euro.

The ESL European Nations Championship has been founded in 2004 and has become the one tournament to find the best national team in European eSports. Last year’s finalists went to gamescom in Cologne. Sweden, Denmark and Germany twice won a discipline each at the the worlds largest game exhibition. The games of 2010 are the following: Counter-Strike, Warcraft 3, FIFA, Counter-Strike:Source, Counter-Strike 1.6 Female and Quake Live.

Today the ESL announced Quake Live to be one of the two new disciplines of the European Nations Championship 2010, considered the community is growing fast. Play mode is 4on4 Team Deathmatch. Prize money will be announced tomorrow. Information regarding rules and other settings for the individual games will be released soon on ESL.
