The top4 teams from season V are getting an invitations to this new season. That means fnaticMSI.ql, 4Kings, LowLandLions.ql and SKZI Gaming won’t have to go through the qualifiers.

The 4 qualification cups for the next EMS VI Quakelive TDM will start with the first cup on Wednesday, 24th March at 20:00 CET. The top3 teams from each of these qualification cups will earn a slot for the Group Stage.

The Hungarian QL TDM team secured their place in the playoffs and are now are waiting for the next opponent among the best eight in QQC Nations Cup.

Some reachable members of 4Kings QL TDM team have been interviewed by skzi.hu. The team itself has had an impressive run recently, where they have shown their strength in both the ‘Spontan TDM Cup‘ and the ‘Kuh3 SummerCup Premiership‘ in which they placed both first and second respectively. The team is comprised of: Marcel ‘doz3r‘ von Thomsen (management), Cristian ‘dk’ Torrents, Jan ‘jocko’ Balada, Krystof ‘Krysa’ Cerny, Julien ‘nettah’ Chapacou, Zhibo ‘RazerJ’ Fan, Marcin ‘v3rb’ Bogusz and Maciej ‘zik’ Jakuc.

Lets begin with your team in EMS5. You had a pretty strong lineup for the matches, but you lost against LowLandLions. Could have you predicted that?
doz3r: Well we lost 1:2 to LLL, and only by 3 frags on qzdm6 – bad luck. They camped quite well in the last 30secs.
dk: Tbh I cant remember anymore that good. But shit happens. Wasn’t our best day. we will get an rematch in ESL hopefully and then I predict we will win it : P
jocko: No, since no jocko, no win ?.
krysa: Ye LLL are pretty strong, but let’s say it just wasn’t our day. We’ll see next time in the LB finals.

Now you were fighting for a place to the lower bracket finals. Zik wasnt able to play that day, but still you could achieve a win against ZIGI. How would you describe your teamwork for that evening?
doz3r: Yes Zik wasn’t able to play today, but v3rb was available so no problem. On qzca2 we had no real teamwork at all, just timing stuff. qzdm14 on the other hand was good teamwork.
dk: We can field mostly a good team. I think the scores wouldn’t have changed if nettah or Jibo would have played for Zik or for another player.
jocko: All of us are long-time tdmers, so it works perfectly. Maybe in qzca2 was lack of experience.
krysa: We played qzca2 for the first time so we just checked where the items are and defined our tactics as “camp RA & time quad”. I must highlight Jocko’s excellent work on that. DM14 was our classic teamplay and worked out pretty well.

What do you predict for the upcoming matches in EMS5? Who is gonna get the “crown”?
doz3r: Cant answer this question, maybe fnatic, LowLandLions or 4Kings? ; )
dk: Well im thinking positive so we place of coz 1st place ? 2nd and 3rd place for Fnatic in then LLL in this order I think.
jocko: Let`s see, good thing is that we are still contenders for the “crown”.
krysa: After fnatic beat LLL 2:1 I think it’s hard to say who will be the winner.

Did you choose your map by your actual lineup, or by knowing the enemy’s choice?
doz3r: We choose our map by short discussion on teamspeak and confidence.
dk: We are choosing maps 2 mins before the game. Mostly it is by our mood, what we want to play in that moment.
jocko: Map choice depends on our current form and discussion via voicecom infront of game.
krysa: Ye it’s totally random in most of the times, but I must admit that we really like dm14 and dm7 = ).

Have you been practicing hard? If yes, then who did you prefer to play against?
doz3r: Usualy we don’t practice at all.
dk: to be honest… I cant remember when we practiced last time 4v4.
jocko: With 4K not, but i`m still trying to get team Slovakia towards mid level ?. I prefer all high lvl clans, since it`s always challenge for me.
krysa: Mostly just 2v2s.

Are you confident enough? How do you value your enemies?
doz3r: I would say we are confident, we like to win. Well I guess u could say, all highskilled teams are able to win, so we value them high.
dk: of coz, I always think we are going to win… of coz sometimes happens the opposite ? but we are always confident. All are cooking with the same water ?
jocko: I had respect for all enemies that play nice teamplay. Since we beat Miel as SP in q3 days, i`m confident against every team we attend ?.
krysa: Win or GTFO ! We just try never to underestimate our opponents.

Your current TDM-lineup includes Jibo. He seems inactive nowadays, even he is in your squad. Whats the reason for that?
doz3r: Jibo has a job where he needs to travel a lot to Asia, so he can only play with us if he is in Moscow. That’s it about Jibo: )
dk: Jibo is busy with his job currently since he needs to fly around.
jocko: Jibo don’t need to practice, he have it in blood. Always passion to play with such killa pacman ?.
krysa: That’s true = )

What are your plans for the future in QL TDM and 4Kings?
doz3r: We want to compete in all European TDM online and hopefully lan events, and achieve good results.
dk: Well going on like this.. . easymode ?
jocko: Want attend at least one international LAN event with top teams and win so much games as possible.
krysa: Play hard and good TP. I hope in some TDM lans finally. (apart from the czech ones, which are great btw)

ClanBase opened the Spring 2010 Cup season – in which ClanBase hosts a mixture of OpenCups and EuroCups – starting in March and ending mid summer.

EuroCups are invite only cups, with only the top teams from the communities being invited. OpenCups are open to everyone. This season ClanBase plans to run 7 EuroCups and 65 OpenCups spanning a total of 25 games. This season will include their 21st edition of EuroCups – The EuroCup XXI season.
