QuakeLive Summer 2010 | 17.06.2010

qlnews
SKZI signed up to Clanbase Quake Live 2v2 Summer 2010. The first matchweek begins in 12th of July and the guys already started to practice…
…or better to say, they have never stopped.
Anyway you can see their latest match against Zik and Krysa from team 4kings. Both maps were really close and exciting! I hope there will be some good streams of the league, and then we can see some more matches like this.

More at ClanBase.

zolee” and “feeder” also represent us at the “287 QL TDM 2v2” tournament which is going to be powered by the French phpTournois squad. They are in the same group with the well known team Fnatic. I personally really wanna follow this tournament, and we are going to post demos and hopefully VOD-s as well for you guys! Make sure you don’t miss them : )

The same duet managed to get into the HoQ 2v2 CA leauge’s playoff too which started this monday, and they have already won their first match against the team #ouch.

More at HouseOfQuake.

I also have to mention Hungary’s win at the ESL ENC against team RUSSIA to 2-1 If you haven’t seen it, nothing to worry about : ) ’cause as always, the ESL published a VOD.

Great job guys and “GL” for the future !

In my modest opinion Scandinavia for CS is like Asia for Real Time Strategy. For Counter-Strike we are happy to have a Danish team, they play with the 1.6 version of the game.

Now I am happy to announce our Counter-Strike:Source team from Finland.

The team consist of five youngsters, who are highly motivated to attend on Finland’s greatest LAN events, and also some of the major online series across Europe, which are the following :

-Assembly Summer 2010
-Assembly Winter 2010
-ESL EMS
-ED Summer 2010

Before these events – if everything goes well – they are going to participate on Dreamhack Summer Open 2010.

The team made up by next players:
Niko “depsnine” Mäkipaakkanen – as team captain
Henry “htiainen” Tiainen
Topi “Munakas” Mettälä
Toni “toni” Nieminen
Mikael “n4da” Ylisuutari

We are happy to have them amongst us. Welcome here, guys, and good luck witk our common goals!

New FIFA10 results | 10.06.2010

We are proud to inform you, that our youngest member Krisztián ‘Chris’ Dudás qualified to the ESL FIFA 10 1on1 World Cup Groupstage !

Hungary’s best 16 played against each other in the Qualifier. Chris managed to win in the first and second rounds against ReDw1ng and Csaszi from KD-Gaming, then defeated his own team-mate Dur3x – in the third round. Thereafter lost against – another KD-Gaming player – Gabu, in the Winner Brackets Final. After that Chris and ReDw1ng played another match but this time ReDw1ng came out as a winner of the Losers Bracket. So the Superfinal was between two KD players where Gabu managed to defend his title and won the Qualifier.

Final Standings:

1. Gabu
2. ReDw1ng
3. Chris

Good Luck for the Groupstage !

A few weeks earlier Camoranesi finished 2nd at the Hungarian Spring cup. There were 4 Groups, each filled by 6 players, but only the top 2 went through. From the best 24 Hungarian ,Seki and Camoranesi managed to win thier group, Szabby and Matemu took the second places. The Playoffs were played by single elimination, Camo made his way to the Final Match where unfortunately Gabu proved to be better.

Congarts for the second place !

Just one day before the begining of the ESL EMS 6 qualifiers, we took under our wings one of Hungary’s most talented teams, GFC. The Hungarian qualifiers started on the first day, where the guys played under our name. They managed to win against each team except KD-Gaming, who had won ESL EMS the previous season. After finishing second at the National qualifiers they proceeded to triumph against Underground_WC from Ukraine in the following round.

Then the road led straight to the group stage where Europe’s best 16 teams met up. Their first match was against the k1ck eSports Club who finished 3rd place last season. K1ck played well this time too, but our boys managed to emerge victorious from what proved to be a very close match.

In the second match the EMS 4 winners, German team pod virtual gaming managed to defend their name, even though our team played very well. The third and last match in the group was against the Russian Pincho, winner of the first season. Although they only managed a draw against us, they defeated both other teams in the group to finish top.

Unfortunately our team could not manage to go out from the group, but they played well compared to that it was their first season. Good luck for the following EMS !
