SKZI is proud to present the new DOTA Team from Sweden. Divz will ask Olich, the leader of the team about their past in e-sports and their future plans in the SKZI community.

Hello Olich, and welcome amongst us! Please introduce the members in a few words, and tell us a little bit about how and why you gathered together as a team.
-We are 5 members at the moment and it works out pretty well, we all are very active, so in my opinion we don´t need more players, maybe one more. The guys are Doney, Ast0n, Dorffen, Yozup and myself. They are all pleasant people and we always have fun when we play or just chilling in vent.

Why Dota?
-I don´t know why my teammates like the game that much, so i give you my version. Dota is a game where you need everything, individual skill, teamwork and different strategies (picks, lanes, in-game movements etc). Need to find solutions to turn a game when it seems to be lost. That´s the main reason why i like the game so much.

How are the posts shared in the team (support, roaming, etc)?
-Pretty much since ESWC all games is played with a tripple lane and two solo heroes and that fit us very good. Our main solo players are Yozup and Doney, where Yozup is more of a carry and Doney a ganker. They have the highest individual skill in the team but can take some stupid decisions sometimes. On the tripple lane we mostly (we don´t play the same roles/lanes every game) have Ast0n, Dorffen and myself. Ast0n playing main support, he is also the youngest guy in the team but playing really smart both on lane and in the warding part. Dorffen is almost always our main carry, loves to farm and doing really good, not often you see him doing a bad game. At last myself, I try to give us the best conditions to win the game, with picks and in-game strategies, playing suppport/ganker.

Who are your favorite heroes you play with?
-Well we have some picks we feel safe with, heroes like SF, lion, cm, alchemist and WD.

How many hours a day do you play usually?
-We try to gather every day and play cw´s, then we play like 2-4 games. Then we play some public games as well. It´s hard to say in hours how much we play, different every day, but like 3 hours maybe.

What do you think about Valve’s Dota2?
-Never heard about anything like Dota2, just HoN and LoL.

Have you tried HON [Heroes Of Newerth] before? What do you think about it?
-Never tried it and never gonna do it either. Well what i have heard the skill level on the top teams is not even close to Dota, imbalanced game, some heroes are way better then others. I understand that younger players and “public players” like it more cause it´s better graphic but in the E-sport section I don´t like it at all.

What do you think about the future of Dota in competitive gaming?
-With all Asian team specially teams from China that have reached the European Dota scene, I think Dota gonna grow in both the professional and public scene.

How tough is it to fight amongst Nordic and European teams?
-There are many good teams in Europe, like 10 top teams then 10-20 teams behind these teams, “semipro teams” and we are one of them in my opinion.

What are the further possibilities in this game? What is your main goal?
-To become better and play on offline tournaments (LAN). Hard to set specially goals you gonna reach.

What’s your opinion about your chance to qualify to one of the major events or to finish in one of the top places at – for example – the upcoming Dreamhack Winter?
-I have heard that Dota is not gonna be one of the main tournaments but still i think it´s gonna be a BYOC tournament and that make it hard for teams from other parts from Europe to take part, witch mean that many top teams not gonna take part. So I think we would have a good chance to finish in the top if we play the tournament.

What’s your daily routine?
-School, training something then play some Dota:).

Do you play with other games too? Maybe golf in real life? : D
-Played ice-hockey my hole life but not anymore, was playing on a pretty high level so it was taking to much time. Otherwise I´m not playing anything serious.

What else are you interested in besides gaming?
-Sports and my school subjects is pretty interesting at the moment.

Do you guys have girlfriend? How do they handle your gaming lifestyle?
-Ye i have 4 girlfriends, always good to have one in each city:), no i don´t have any. I think i handle my lifestyle pretty good but I´m not sure:)
